The Porterhaus Story

From running a humble cai fan stall to owning 11 coffee shops and 3 Thai restaurants Chef Chery has always built her success on grit and heart … yet one dream remained: to open a western joint … drawn to the Porterhouse steak she often says “Bones are flavor!!!”.

The first outlet took root in Serangoon Gardens a neighborhood affectionately known in Hokkien as “ang sar li” … it was only fitting that its local name inspired the restaurant’s identity and so Porterhaus@angsarli was born.

For Chery this isn’t about chasing Michelin stars—it’s about building a home where people return for comfort sincerity and flavor.
